ISAAC Shuttle Service<\/strong><\/h5>\n

ISAAC offers free shuttle buses from Taipei Main Station to Jiaoxi area as follows: <\/p>\n

\nFor those participants who fill out your flight info and plan to arrive at Taoyuan International Airport (TPE) and Taipei Songshan Airport (TSA), we will arrange airport pickup vans from TPE (and TSA) to Jiaoxi area on Dec. 15 & 16.

Accommodation<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The local information map page<\/a> provides a list of hotels, restaurants, souvenir shops and transportation information. The information bar on the map shows the above information by category. Note that the walking distance between Royal Chiaoshi Hotel and other hotels\/stores is about 20-30 minutes. Royal Chiaohsi also offers free local shuttle service<\/a> to and from Jiaoxi train & bus stations. (Royal Chiaohsi is about only five-minute driving distance away from the stations.)<\/p>\n

Please check the information of the hotels (including special rates, address, ranking, etc.) in the information bar on the map. Note that December is one of the most popular months in Jiaoxi area. The hotel rooms with special rates are actually not on hold, and are provided on a first come first served basis. Please book your hotel as soon as possible. Besides, the room rates may vary a little, depending on currency exchange rates.<\/p>\n

Sightseeing<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n \n\n\n

Jiaoxi is one of the most famous towns in Taiwan for hot spring. It would be great if your family will come with you when you participate in this year's ISAAC. We provide some one-day local trips<\/a> during Dec. 17-20. You can make a reservation through the registration form, and pay at the front desk then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n

Travel<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n\n

If you would like to go to Jiaoxi, Yilan by yourself, here is the information of public transportation (by Train or Bus).\n\n

You can take train (or bus) from Taipei Main Station to Jiaoxi Train Station (or Jiaoxi Bus Station, respectively) by yourself. The conference hotel offers local shuttle service<\/a> from Taipei Main Station and from Jiaoxi train station and Jiaoxi bus station. Notice that the shuttle service needs to be booked earlier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

  • From Taipei Main Station to Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi: Please book at least one day earlier (about 1-hour driving distance, NT$250 per person)<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n
  • From Jiaoxi Main Station or Jiaoxi Bus Station to Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi: Please book at least two hours earlier. (about five-minute driving distance, for free)<\/li>\n\n\n\n\n\n

    There is no direct train or bus from the airport (TPE) to Jiaoxi, Yilan. Here are three ways we recommend:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n

    1. Take Taoyuan Metro Express<\/a> to Taipei Main Station (\u53f0\u5317\u8eca\u7ad9). \n(Fare: TWD $160; Duration: 30-45 minutes)
      Then take       railway<\/a> from Taipei Main Station to Jiaoxi Train Station (Jiaoxi, Yilan).\n(Fare: TWD $199; Duration: 90-120 minutes)

    2. Or Take Taoyuan Metro Express to Taipei Bus Station(\u53f0\u5317\u8f49\u904b\u7ad9).\n(Fare: TWD $160; Duration: about 50 minutes)
      \nThen take KAMALAN Bus (\u845b\u746a\u862d\u5ba2\u904b) from Taipei Bus Station to Jiaoxi Bus Station (\u7901\u6eaa\u8f49\u904b\u7ad9) \n(Fare: TWD $110; Duration: about 1 hour)
